Centauri impulse educational research in Panama at the Central Data Project Researchers Workshop
Centauri Technologies Corporation is happy to have participated in the «Researchers Workshop of the Central Data Project» alongside the Educational Research Center of Panama (Ciedu).
New edition of Cybertech Latin America 2023: Centauri joins together with leaders in cybersecurity and innovation to accelerate technological development in the region.
Since 2017, this event has brought together Latin America’s top professionals in cybersecurity, business, and innovation. The one-day digital event, organized in partnership with the Israeli Embassy in Panama, the City of Knowledge, SENACYT, AIG, and other regional partners, will bring together government officials, industry experts, academics, major firms, and startups.

Anatomy of a nation-state level attack. Through this talk we will explore how attackers can evade detection by using victims’ own cloud-based services to carry out data exfiltration and malware downloads. We also walk through some detection mechanisms for Living of the cloud!!! attacks.
Hubert Demercado is one of the founding members of theDOJO Community and Co-Founder of BSides Panama. He has worked in information security and technology for the last 14 years. Security consultant for several Panamanian companies and government agencies. In his career he has obtained numerous certifications including approximately 15 security certifications.
